I lived in Cancun, Mexico for 10 years and worked for a travel agency for a while. I've been to Chichen Itza, Tulum, Ruinas Del Rey the ruins and pyramids are amazing. We have visited the cenotes and Mayan Saunas in Tulum and Valladolid, the  "Torre Latino Americana" and " mueseo de artes " in Mexico City.  We have been snorkeling in "Isla Mujeres" and "Cozumel"   There are parts of Cancun that tourists never see and wouldn''t believe exist in such a beautiful place.  I will post some pics later.
