Hi classmates!

I would like to invite all classmates to south Florida this winter, in January or February, for a mini-reunion.

There are a bunch of us who already live here, and I'm hoping that those of us who live elsewhere might like to get away from the cold weather in most other states. I for one wasn't able to come to the NJ reunion, but I would love to see everyone.

I'm thinking that Boca Raton would be a nice place for us to all hang out. 

Would love to hear your thoughts on this idea.

Judy, you missed a great night unfortunately. Since I live in Boca that is kind of a no brainer for me

as long as I am in town. I doubt that my wife will go to another one, but I certainly would.

Judy, right now I have no clue. I travel a lot for my business, but usually during the week, so anytime at the moment works for me. I will do my best to be available whenever you are able to put something together with the other people..

Since you will be here at a specific time, let's schedule the mini-reunion around your schedule. That way, we know at least two people will be there, you and me!

Update:

The Florida mini-reunion is being planned for Feburary. It won't be anything formal. No fixed fees for anything. We will all meet and then decide where to go for a bite to eat.

Jane Weinerman Sosnow suggested we meet at a happy hour and then take it from there. (I am neutral about that, as I am not into drinking and would prefer an outdoors, daytime meeting.)

Since those of us in Florida (and we are many) live all over the state, it's hard to choose a place. I would love for us to meet at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, because it's really pretty. We could meet in a lobby area and then take it from there.

I would love a beach picnic, perhaps in Delray Beach. We could all meet on the beach and bring our own food. (This would work for me, as I eat raw vegan cuisine, which is hard to find in restaurants.) But the most important thing is for us all to get together. Not the food.

I'm open to everyone's ideas!
